Ice, Ice Baby: The Central Park Ice Festival Saturday 2/11

Central Park Ice FestivalThe Central Park Ice Festival is aannual event featuring ice sculpting, trivia contests and the opportunity to mold your own ice sculpture. Grab the littles and your mittens. The event is free, starting at 3 pm and going til 8. Food trucks from Uncle Gussy’s Greek, Crepe Crave & Wafels and Dingus (love their ice cream!) will be selling bites on site. There will be a silent disco in a multi-colored light-filled mall of trees starting at 5 with headphones powered by Quiet Events (Headphones will be given out on a first come, first served basis, and quantities are limited. A credit card is required to check out a pair of headphones. )

Head over to the Naumberg Bandshell  (mid park from 66th-72nd Streets) tomorrow for fun with over 6,000 lbs of solid ice!
