By now I think everyone has seen an image from the war in Ukraine that has touched their heart. For me, it was the train platform packed with people hoping to escape to safety.

The horrible situation in the Ukraine is dire and there are so many families being affected. Maybe you have been wondering how to help or where to donate? I know I have. I’m grateful to have found he perfect cause, where we can be certain that every penny makes a difference. 

Here, I’m introducing Dr. Muni Tazib who is a fellow Hoboken-er and and living angel as far as I am concerned.  I met her years ago when she cared for one of my daughters. Her compassion and focus was something that I had never seen in a Doctor before or since.

Fast forward and she is a now frontline COVID doctor (who nearly died from COVID herself) and the founder of HumanitarianMD. She has lead expeditions to help during crises including Haiti and Puerto Rico. She pulls together a  medical team — and off they go. 

This mission is called Love4Ukraine and Muni is taking 19 volunteer physicians to the Ukraine Polish border. The first group leaves Saturday, 3/19 and the second group leaves Saturday, 3/26.
